In Tuesday's league contest, the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the host Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Lions face the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 19. Lyons will attempt to better on its 26-6 season record. The Mighty Macs go into the contest with a 31-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Huntley (Huntley, IL).

With the loss, Downers Grove North moves to 13-20 on the year. The Trojans travel to St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL) to face the Fighting Saints in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 19. The Fighting Saints go into the contest with a record of 26-6. St. Charles East won 2-0 in their recent league contest against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL)
