The Sanford Mustangs volleyball team (Sanford, CO), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM)
The Lobos (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Bobcats come into the 2A District 5 challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, McCurdy went down by Questa (Questa, NM), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Mancos Bluejays (Mancos, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 21. Sanford will attempt to move on its 14-5 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Telluride (Telluride, CO).
