The Meridian Hawks volleyball team (Macon, IL), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL)

The Crusaders (31-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 26-3 record. In their last challenge, Pleasant Plains defeated Rochester (Rochester, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks encounter the Shelbyville Rams (Shelbyville, IL) in a Central Illinois challenge, on Thursday, October 20. Meridian will attempt to move on its 15-13 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 20-9 record after their 2-0 league win over Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL).
