Connecticut High School Volleyball - Maloney Newington

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Newington Nor'easters volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Maloney Spartans.

The Nor'easters (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Avon (Avon, CT). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 9-16 record. In their last battle, Avon lost by Platt (Meriden, CT), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South battle, on Friday, October 21. Maloney will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 12-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Avon (Avon, CT).
