In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Worthington Trojans football squad scored a close 20-14 victory over the St. Peter Saints.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 24. Worthington will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Bluejays enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to Fairmont/Martin Luther (Fairmont, MN).
The Saints (3-6) will now prepare for their match against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN). The Eagles enter the South - Central Red match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, New Ulm was nudged by Marshall (Marshall, MN), 35-7, in a league match.
