The Rockingham County Cougars football team (Wentworth, NC), was ripped 34-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC)
The Rams (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Ben L. Smith was ripped by Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC), 37-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atkins for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 26. Rockingham County will meet a Camels team coming off a 45-0 non-league loss to Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Camels record now stands at 2-6.
