In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Rivers Red Wings soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Thayer Academy Tigers.
The Red Wings (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Milton Academy (Milton, MA). The Mustangs come into the Independent School battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Milton Academy nudged St. Mark's (Southborough, MA), 5-0, in a league battle.
The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lawrence Academy (Groton, MA). The Spartans come into the Independent School battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Lawrence Academy was overwhelmed by St. Sebastian's School (Needham, MA), 5-0, in a league battle.
