Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 13-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Appling County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 19. Berrien will face a Pirates squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Thomson falls to 14-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Rutland (Macon, GA) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 18. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 10-11. Rutland lost 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA)
