The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH) and the visiting Champion Golden Flashes (Warren, OH), saw Kirtland's volleyball squad beat Champion by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Kirtland upgrades its record to 14-8 on the year. The Hornets travel to Berkshire (Burton, OH) to play the Badgers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 21. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 18-4. Berkshire lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Riverside (Painesville, OH)

The Golden Flashes now own a 9-12 record.
