Colorado High School Volleyball - Dawson School can't hold off Clear Creek

In Wednesday's league battle, the host Clear Creek Golddiggers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Dawson School Mustangs.

The Golddiggers (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage Christian (Fort Collins, CO). The Eagles come into the 2A/1A Mile High battle with a 9-11 record. In their last battle, Heritage Christian nudged Twin Peaks Charter Academy (Longmont, CO), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Highland Huskies (Ault, CO) in a 2A/1A Mile High battle, on Wednesday, October 25. Dawson School will attempt to advance on its 5-15 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 3-14 record after their 3-2 league loss to Gilpin County (Black Hawk, CO).

This was a roller coaster of a match for both teams tonight. It went from a very offensive match to a very defensive match. In the end, the Diggers served tough and found their rhythm to finish off the match.
