The Pennfield Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Hastings Saxons to 2 in the Panthers league victory on Wednesday.

The Panthers now have a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union City for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 24. Pennfield will meet a Chargers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Concord (Concord, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 10-10.

The Saxons (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Coldwater (Coldwater, MI). The Cardinals enter the Inner State game with a 25-13 record. In their last game, Coldwater was nudged by Western (Parma, MI), 3-1, in a non-league game.
