Connecticut High School Volleyball - Ludlowe can't hold off Staples

In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Staples Wreckers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Ludlowe Falcons.

The Wreckers (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Trumbull (Trumbull, CT). The Eagles come into the Fairfield County battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Trumbull nudged Norwalk (Norwalk, CT), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County battle, on Friday, October 20. Ludlowe will attempt to advance on its 5-12 season record. The Black Knights come into the battle with a 7-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Greenwich (Greenwich, CT).
