Alabama High School Football - American Christian Academy knocked off by Oak Grove

In Friday's league game, the Oak Grove Tigers (Bessemer, AL) football team overcame the visiting American Christian Academy Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL), by a tally of 34-9.

The Tigers now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairfield for a 4A Region 4 test on Thursday, October 24. Oak Grove will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 30-28 league win over Bibb County (Centreville, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, American Christian Academy drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Holt (Holt, AL) to meet the Ironmen in a 4A Region 4 test on Friday, October 25. The Ironmen come into the test with a record of 4-5. Holt won 28-0 in their recent league test against Tarrant (Birmingham, AL)
