In Friday's league match, the visiting Collins Titans football squad scored a good 42-28 triumph over the Anderson County Bearcats.
The Titans (4-4) will now prepare for their match against South Oldham (Crestwood, KY). The Dragons come into the 5A District 5 match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, South Oldham defeated North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY), 39-7, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Bearcats confront the Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) in a 5A District 5 match, on Friday, October 25. Anderson County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the match with a 7-1 record after their 38-35 league win over Scott County (Georgetown, KY).
