The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ardsley Panthers (Ardsley, NY) and the visiting Pelham Memorial Pelicans (Pelham, NY), witnessed Ardsley's football squad edge Pelham Memorial by a tally of 27-26.

The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pearl River (Pearl River, NY). The Pirates enter the Section 1 B contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Pearl River got by Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY), 42-6, in a league contest.
