Pennsylvania High School Football - Penn-Trafford over Armstrong

October 18, 2024: Kittanning, PA 16201

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA) and the host Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA), witnessed Penn-Trafford's football squad knock off Armstrong by a tally of 35-14.

The Warriors (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA). The Wildcats enter the WPIAL AAAAA Big East contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Greater Latrobe gained a win over Gateway (Monroeville, PA), 28-27, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the River Hawks confront the Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 25. Armstrong will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 27-17 league loss to Woodland Hills (Pittsburgh, PA).
