South Carolina High School Football - Waccamaw nudges Aynor

October 18, 2024: Aynor, SC 29511

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Waccamaw Warriors (Pawley's Island, SC) and the host Aynor Blue Jackets (Aynor, SC), witnessed Waccamaw's football squad edge Aynor by a tally of 37-30.

The Warriors (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dillon (Dillon, SC). The Wildcats enter the AAA Region 5 contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Dillon got by Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC), 35-12, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Blue Jackets confront the Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC) in a AAA Region 5 contest, on Friday, October 25. Aynor will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 52-0 league loss to Loris (Loris, SC).
