Texas High School Football - George West trounces Banquete

In Friday's league match, the host George West Longhorns football squad scored a decisive 62-0 victory over the Banquete Bulldogs.

The Longhorns (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, TX). The Warriors enter the 3A-2 Region IV District 16 match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Santa Rosa was routed by Taft (Taft, TX), 28-20, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Monte Alto Blue Devil (Monte Alto, TX) in a 3A-2 Region IV District 16 match, on Friday, October 25. Banquete will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Blue Devil enter the match with a 0-7 record after their 61-7 league loss to Odem (Odem, TX).
