Waterford Wolverines (Waterford, WI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Beloit Memorial Purple Knights (Beloit, WI), 29-28 in a league battle.
With the win, Waterford improves its record to 5-4 on the season.
The Purple Knights now have a 4-5 record.

Playoff Football returns to Beloit tonight as the 4-4 Knights host 4-4 Waterford. Both teams need that 5th win to reach the WIAA Playoffs.

So Waterford's 4-2 SLC record gets them in even if they lose and finish 4-5. Beloit could go 5-4, but a 3-4 SLC Eliminates them.... sorry.
