Texas High School Football - University tops Belton

October 18, 2024: Belton, TX 76513

The University Trojans football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Belton Tigers to 25 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Waco for a 5A-2 Region III District 10 test on Friday, October 25. University will meet a Lions squad coming off a 40-0 league loss to Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Belton drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Rudder (Bryan, TX) to meet the Rangers in a 5A-2 Region III District 10 test on Friday, October 25. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 6-1. Rudder lost 31-10 in their recent league test against Brenham (Brenham, TX)
