Pennsylvania High School Football - Bentworth trounces Mapletown

October 18, 2024: Bentleyville, PA 15314

In Friday's league match, the host Bentworth Bearcats football squad scored a decisive 54-12 triumph over the Mapletown Maples.

The Bearcats (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Avella (Avella, PA). The Eagles come into the WPIAL A Tri-County South match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, Avella was routed by Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA), 54-20, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Maples confront the Carmichaels Mighty Mikes (Carmichaels, PA) in a WPIAL A Tri-County South match, on Friday, October 25. Mapletown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Mighty Mikes come into the match with a 4-3 record after their 19-6 league win over West Greene (Waynesburg, PA).
