South Carolina High School Football - Blackville-Hilda beat Calhoun County

October 18, 2024: Blackville, SC 29817

The Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Calhoun County Saints to 12 in the Fighting Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Fighting Hawks now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hunter-Kinard-Tyler for a A Region 3 test on Friday, October 25. Blackville-Hilda will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 42-0 league win over Williston-Elko (Williston, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Calhoun County drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Saints host Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC) to meet the Trojans in a A Region 3 test on Friday, October 25. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 5-2. Ridge Spring-Monetta won 22-8 in their recent league test against Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC)
