Arizona High School Football - Blue Ridge loses to Payson

The Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets football team (Lakeside, AZ), was topped 30-21 in Friday's league bout with the host Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ)

With the win, Payson advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, October 25. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Valley Christian lost 20-14 in their recent non-league bout against Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ)

The Yellow Jackets now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Show Low for a 3A East bout on Friday, October 25. Blue Ridge will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 38-0 non-league win over Monument Valley (Kayenta, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 3-5.
