Maine High School Football - Spruce Mountain triumphant over Boothbay/Wiscasset

October 18, 2024: Boothbay Harbor, ME

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME) and the host Boothbay/Wiscasset (Boothbay Harbor, ME), witnessed Spruce Mountain's football squad wallop Boothbay/Wiscasset by a tally of 52-12.

The Phoenix (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME). The Hawks enter the 8-Man Small South (8 Man) contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Sacopee Valley was trounced by Lake Region (Naples, ME), 60-12, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the battle the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 25. Boothbay/Wiscasset will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 1-6 record after their 44-22 league loss to Orono (Orono, ME).
