Texas High School Football - San Elizario can't hold off Bowie

Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting San Elizario Eagles (San Elizario, TX), 47-40 in a league battle.

With the win, Bowie improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Mountain View (El Paso, TX) to play the Lobos in a 4A-1 Region I District 1 battle on Friday, October 25. The Lobos go into the battle with a record of 3-5. Mountain View lost 48-7 in their recent league battle against Riverside (El Paso, TX)

The Eagles now have a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a 4A-1 Region I District 1 battle on Friday, November 1.
