In Friday's league game, the Sheehan Titans (Wallingford, CT) football team triumphed over the host Branford Hornets (Branford, CT), by a tally of 47-0.

In their next game, the Titans face the Fairfield Prep Jesuits (Fairfield, CT) in a Southern Connecticut game, on Friday, November 1. Sheehan will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record.

The Hornets (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Hartford Public (Hartford, CT). The Owls enter the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Hartford Public was trounced by Manchester (Manchester, CT), 54-18, in a non-league game.
