Ohio High School Football - Madison can't hold off Carlisle

October 18, 2024: Carlisle, OH 45005

The Carlisle Indians got by the visiting Madison Mohawks football team by a score of 38-35 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians play the Eaton Eagles (Eaton, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye challenge, on Friday, October 25. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 42-15 league loss to Waynesville (Waynesville, OH).

The Mohawks (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakwood (Dayton, OH). The Lumberjacks go into the Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Oakwood was nipped by Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH), 31-0, in a non-league test.
