Virginia High School Football - Patrick Henry trounces Cave Spring

In Friday's league match, the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots football squad scored a decisive 49-7 victory over the Cave Spring Knights.

The Patriots (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons enter the River Ridge match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Christiansburg routed Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 56-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) in a River Ridge match, on Friday, October 25. Cave Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 56-40 league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA).
