The Cedar Bluff Tigers football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Sand Rock Wildcats to 26 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now hold a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Donoho for a non-league test on Friday, November 1.

With the defeat, Sand Rock drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Gaston (Gadsden, AL) to meet the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 7 test on Friday, October 25. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-6. Gaston lost 58-6 in their recent league test against Pisgah (Pisgah, AL)
