Michigan High School Football - St. Joseph wallops Central

The St. Joseph Bears football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Central Bearcats to 12 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Portage Central for a Southwestern Michigan - West test on Friday, October 25. St. Joseph will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 50-0 non-league win over Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Central drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Mattawan (Mattawan, MI) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, October 25. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-3. Mattawan won 42-20 in their recent non-league test against Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI)
