Virginia High School Football - Union wallops Central Wise

October 18, 2024: Big Stone Gap, VA 24219

The Union Bears football squad scored 54 points and limited the visiting Central Wise Warriors to 7 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Abingdon for a Mountain test on Friday, November 1.

With the defeat, Central Wise drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lee (Jonesville, VA) to clash with the Generals in a Mountain test on Friday, October 25. The Generals come into the test with a record of 3-4. Lee lost 42-39 in their recent league test against Gate City (Gate City, VA)
