The North Providence Cougars football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Chariho Chargers to 13 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a Division II test on Friday, October 25. North Providence will meet a Lions squad coming off a 26-3 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Lions record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Chariho drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Chargers host Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 3-3. Portsmouth lost 21-6 in their recent league test against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI)
