The Ysleta Indians felled the host Clint Lions football team by a score of 53-45 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians play the Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX) in a 4A-1 Region I District 1 challenge, on Friday, October 25. Ysleta will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Rockets go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 31-14 league loss to Austin (El Paso, TX).

The Lions (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Fabens (Fabens, TX). The Wildcats go into the 4A-1 Region I District 1 challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Fabens was dropped by Ysleta (El Paso, TX), 64-0, in a league challenge.
