The North Scott Lancers walloped the visiting Clinton River Kings football team by a score of 49-14 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Lancers face the Oskaloosa Indians (Oskaloosa, IA) in a 4A District 3 challenge, on Friday, October 25. North Scott will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Indians go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 41-34 league win over Burlington (Burlington, IA).
The River Kings (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA). The Clippers go into the 4A District 3 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Clear Creek-Amana bounced Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA), 28-24, in a league challenge.
