North Carolina High School Football - Red Springs nudges Clinton

In Friday's league match, the host Red Springs Red Devils football squad scored a close 36-34 triumph over the Clinton Dark Horses.

The Red Devils (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Midway (Dunn, NC). The Raiders come into the 2A Southeastern match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Midway tipped West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC), 37-12, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Dark Horses confront the St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) in a 2A Southeastern match, on Friday, October 25. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 6-2 record after their 43-0 league win over Fairmont (Fairmont, NC).
