The Rappahannock Raiders walloped the host Colonial Beach Drifters football team by a score of 42-8 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders play the Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) in a Northern Neck challenge, on Friday, October 25. Rappahannock will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Red Devils go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 43-0 league loss to Westmoreland (Montross, VA).
The Drifters (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Essex (Tappahannock, VA). The Trojans go into the Northern Neck challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Essex bounced Northumberland (Heathsville, VA), 40-8, in a league challenge.
