Ohio High School Football - Riverside over Covington

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Riverside Pirates (De Graff, OH) and the visiting Covington Buccs (Covington, OH), witnessed Riverside's football squad knock off Covington by a tally of 26-14.

The Pirates (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Milton-Union (West Milton, OH). The Bulldogs enter the Three Rivers contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Milton-Union was toppled by Northridge (Dayton, OH), 40-21, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Buccs battle the Miami East Vikings (Casstown, OH) in a Three Rivers contest, on Friday, October 25. Covington will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 43-12 league win over Bethel (Tipp City, OH).
