Pennsylvania High School Football - Crestwood can't hold off Wilkes-Barre

October 18, 2024: Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702

Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA), 21-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Wilkes-Barre improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to Williamsport (Williamsport, PA) to play the Millionaires in a non-league battle on Friday, October 25. The Millionaires go into the battle with a record of 4-5. Williamsport lost 30-26 in their recent non-league battle against Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA)

The Comets now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Wyoming Valley West for a Wyoming Valley 1 battle on Friday, October 25. Crestwood will play a Spartans team coming off a 35-10 non-league loss to Valley View (Archbald, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-9.
