Michigan High School Football - DeWitt trounces Okemos

In Friday's league match, the host DeWitt Panthers football squad scored a decisive 62-0 triumph over the Okemos Wolves.

The Panthers (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Everett (Lansing, MI). The Vikings come into the Capital Area - Blue match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Everett routed Holt (Holt, MI), 29-20, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Wolves confront the Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue match, on Friday, October 25. Okemos will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Comets come into the match with a 4-4 record after their 55-0 non-league loss to Catholic Central (Novi, MI).
