The Golden Plains Bulldogs got by the visiting Western Plains Bobcats football team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Cheylin Cougars (Bird City, KS) in a 6-Man North (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 25. Golden Plains will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 50-2 league win over Triplains/Brewster (Brewster, KS).
The Bobcats (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern Valley (Almena, KS). The Huskies enter the 6-Man North (6 Man) contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Northern Valley was nudged by Weskan (Weskan, KS), 47-40, in a league contest.
