Kentucky High School Football - Greenup County overwhelmed by Johnson Central

The Johnson Central Golden Eagles walloped the visiting Greenup County Musketeers football team by a score of 67-34 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a 4A District 6 challenge, on Friday, October 25. Johnson Central will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Tomcats enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 49-21 league win over Boyd County (Ashland, KY).

The Musketeers (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Vikings enter the 4A District 6 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Rowan County was ripped by Boyd County (Ashland, KY), 49-13, in a league challenge.
