Nebraska High School Football - Hay Springs wallops Minatare

October 18, 2024: Hay Springs, NE 69347

The Hay Springs Hawks football squad scored 69 points and limited the visiting Minatare Indians to 0 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now hold a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Arthur County for a D6 District 6 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 25. Hay Springs will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 56-6 league win over Crawford (Crawford, NE). The Wolves record now stands at 7-0.

With the defeat, Minatare drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Indians host Cody-Kilgore (Cody, NE) to meet the Cowboys/Cowgirls in a D6 District 6 (6 Man) test on Thursday, October 24. The Cowboys/Cowgirls come into the test with a record of 2-5. Cody-Kilgore lost 60-42 in their recent league test against Sioux County (Harrison, NE)
