Mississippi High School Football - Hillcrest Christian trounced by Prairie View Academy

October 18, 2024: Jackson, MS 39212

In Friday's league game, the Prairie View Academy Spartans (Bastrop, LA) football team triumphed over the host Hillcrest Christian Cougars (Jackson, MS), by a score of 55-12.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Porter's Chapel Academy Eagles (Vicksburg, MS) in a MAIS 8-Man 2A District 3 (8 Man) game, on Friday, October 25. Prairie View Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 6-3 record after their 42-36 non-league win over Wilkinson County Christian Academy (Woodville, MS).

The Cougars (2-7) will now prepare for their game against North Sunflower Academy (Drew, MS). The Rebels enter the non-league game with a 1-6 record.
