The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hillsboro Trojans (Hillsboro, KS) and the host Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS), witnessed Hillsboro's football squad wallop Lyons by a tally of 32-0.

The Trojans (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Smoky Valley (Lindsborg, KS). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Smoky Valley crushed Nickerson (Nickerson, KS), 36-13, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Lions battle the Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS) in a Central Kansas contest, on Friday, October 25. Lyons will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Dragons enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 38-15 league loss to Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS).
