North Carolina High School Football - Hoke County knocked off by Union Pines

In Friday's league game, the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) football team overcame the visiting Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), by a tally of 28-6.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a 3A/4A Sandhills game, on Friday, October 25. Union Pines will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 20-14 league loss to Hoke County (Raeford, NC).

The Bucks (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots enter the 3A/4A Sandhills game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Pinecrest notched a victory over Scotland (Laurinburg, NC), 43-36, in a league game.
