Pennsylvania High School Football - Portage nudges Homer-Center

October 18, 2024: Homer City, PA 15748

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) and the host Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), witnessed Portage's football squad edge Homer-Center by a tally of 34-28.

The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA). The Colts enter the Heritage contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Northern Cambria got by River Valley (Blairsville, PA), 48-8, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA) in a Heritage contest, on Friday, October 25. Homer-Center will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 4-5 record after their 34-0 league win over Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA).
