The Huron Tigers edged the visiting Mitchell Kernels football team by a score of 29-26 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD) in a Eastern South Dakota challenge, on Thursday, October 24. Huron will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 42-7 league win over Douglas (Box Elder, SD).
The Kernels (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Yankton (Yankton, SD). The Bucks/Gazelles enter the Eastern South Dakota challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Yankton held off Tea (Tea, SD), 28-7, in a league challenge.
