The Indianola Academy Colonels football team scored 42 points and restricted the host West Memphis Christian Black Knights to 22 in the Colonels league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Colonels play the Canton Academy Panthers (Canton, MS) in a MAIS 3A District 2 challenge, on Friday, October 25. Indianola Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 29-6 non-league loss to Riverfield Academy (Rayville, LA).

The Black Knights (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Benton Academy (Benton, MS). The Raiders go into the MAIS 3A District 2 challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Benton Academy lost by Central Holmes Christian (Lexington, MS), 35-0, in a league challenge.
