The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Weston-McEwen/Griswold Tiger Scots (Athena, OR) and the visiting Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR), witnessed Weston-McEwen/Griswold's football squad knock off Irrigon by a tally of 42-12.

The Tiger Scots (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Boardman, OR). The Pirates enter the 2A Special District 6 (9 Man) contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Riverside was toppled by Heppner (Heppner, OR), 44-13, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Knights battle the Cove Leopards (Cove, OR) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 25. Irrigon will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Leopards enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 47-12 league win over Imbler (Imbler, OR).
