Tennessee High School Football - Jackson Central Merry falls to Peabody

The Peabody Golden Tide felled the visiting Jackson Central Merry Cougars football team by a score of 23-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Tide face the Milan Bulldogs (Milan, TN) in a 2A Region 6 challenge, on Friday, October 25. Peabody will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 42-8 non-league win over Trezevant (Memphis, TN).

The Cougars (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside (Decaturville, TN). The Panthers go into the 2A Region 6 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Riverside toppled Adamsville (Adamsville, TN), 27-20, in a league challenge.
